Argentina - February 2025

I’m delighted to offer this trip to Argentina in February 2025.

One of the things I love about golf is the places it has taken me to around the world, places I might never have thought of visiting without the lure of a golf course. Argentina will be one of those places.

There will be two centres for this trip – the Argentinian capital, Buenos Aires, and the beautiful countryside of Patagonia. And we will play the best golf courses in the country, from Alister MacKenzie’s Jockey Club to the rising star, Deafio, in Patagonoa.

But as well as enjoying some great golf, we will also experience the legendary food, drink and dance that make this country so enjoyable.

South West Ireland - June 2024

Ireland is one of the world’s ‘ultimate’ destinations for a golf trip. And nowhere in the land is there a higher concentration of great golf than in the south west. The trip I have put together is genuine bucket list stuff.

We will play the very best courses in the region, from the historic joys of Ballybunion and Lahinch, to the modern additions of Waterville and Old Head.

I have picked the hotels on this trip carefully. They all provide a high standard of accommodation and are close to pubs and restaurants so we can enjoy what Ireland has to offer beyond the golf course.

Kintyre, Islay and Arran - August 2024

This trip is for people who want to discover courses a little off the beaten track - courses you might only have read about in books, or gazed at on social media. We will visit places at the edge of Scotland but at the very heart of what the country has to offer.

We will play some courses that feature high up the rankings, like The Machrie, Prestwick, Machrihanish and Machrihanish Dunes. But we will also see some real gems like Dunaverty and Carradale, Shiskine and Corrie.

We will stay in the communities of Campbeltown and Brodick, as well as at the wonderful Machrie resort on Islay. Back on the mainland we will end our trip at the newly built accommodation at Dundonald. You will be sure to eat and drink well, sampling the best produce the country has to offer.

Australia - March 2024

The phrase 'holiday of a lifetime' gets thrown around quite a bit. But I genuinely think this trip could qualify for the title! I'm delighted to be able to offer this chance to play some of the greatest golf courses in the world. Paris
When I am asked which area of Europe is the strongest for golf I never have any hesitation in saying Paris. The quality of golf courses in the area is simply tremendous, although accessing them has always been a challenge. The city’s proximity to Tom Simpson’s creations at Fontainebleau, Morfontaine and Chantilly makes a golf trip to Paris one of the truly great experiences in world golf. Combine that with the wonderful Parisien nightlife and you have the recipe for an unforgettable trip.

Ardfin September 2022

I am delighted to be able to offer the opportunity to play the amazing Ardfin course on the Isle of Jura. The course has been described as one of the very best courses built anywhere in the world for generations. It’s a breathtaking course, in a phenomenal setting.

Normally, the only way to play the course is by staying on-site. But the owner, Greg Coffey, has very generously given over the course for the day to raise money for a charity close to my heart - Kipawa Trust International. This is the first time the course has been opened to members of the public in this way.

I am delighted to be able to offer a trip to one of the most exciting areas for golf in Europe - Donegal in Ireland. For many years, those ‘in the know’ have been singing its praises but, with the opening of Tom Doak’s St Patrick’s course and Gil Hanse’s work at Narin & Portnoo, Donegal is now at the top of many people’s golfing wish lists for 2023.

I am really looking forward to welcoming golfers from all over the world to East Lothian for what promises to be a truly memorable week of golf. I am thrilled that Geoff Shackelford has agreed to join me on the trip. Geoff is one of the most knowledgeable people in the world on the subject of golf course architecture and the game today. He is also great company and I know you will enjoy spending time with him.

We will play classic courses like North Berwick and Gullane 1, but we will also find some places a little off the beaten track. Whether that's playing with hickories at Musselburgh Old course or exploring the streets of North Berwick, this will be a trip to remember.
